mSchools Changing Education Together: Encourage Learning with Mobile

 

mSchools Changing Education Together is a one-day seminar for school administrators, education representatives and policy makers organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona and taking place on Wednesday 1 March.

The seminar’s 3rd edition represents a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge base, discuss the role of mobile in education and share good practices.

mSchools Mobile Learning Awards

 

This 5th edition of Mobile Learning Awards will honour innovative teacher and school led projects that recognised the integral role of Mobile Technology in Education.

Competing categories for Mobile Learning Awards 2017 will include:

  • Best Digital Learning Experiences and Proposals in the classroom (Toolbox experiences)
  • Most Innovative school in Mobile Education (School led projects or policies)

Edu_Hack: Teachers Co-Creating

 

mSchools Edu_Hack, organized by Mobile World Capital Barcelona, is a large scale co-creative process for school teachers that aims to identify and collaboratively develop innovative classroom experiences for all educational levels and subjects.

This session, addressed to teachers from schools across Catalonia, is an excellent opportunity to immerse in the mindset of design thinking, learn from the co-creative educational experiences designed at the first Edu_Hack edition and discover the novelties of this second edition.

mSchools@YoMo

 
mSchools participates in the first edition of YoMo, the Youth Mobile Festival where science and technology meet mobile. Students and teachers will experience over 13,000sqm of a wide range of content across all areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

The mSchools area at YoMo consists of two parts:

  • mSchools Classroom: Informative sessions throughout the four days of YoMo on educational topics and innovative educational experiencies with mobile technology.
  • mSchools Experiences: Through four different workshop spaces, teachers already participating in the mSchool programme share their experience on how they have applied successfully the different mSchool initiatives to introduce digital technology in the classroom, improving their students’ learning skills.
