mSchools invites teachers from Primary and Secondary education to the workshop “Science and Mobile in the classroom”, framed within Science Week 2017.
Mobile phones are pocket-size laboratories containing sensors that allow users to study several aspects of light, sound, movement and magnetism. This workshop encourages teachers to reflect on how this device can help them do, talk and think about science with their students.
Successful classroom teaching experiences will be presented and tested, and the potential and limitations of this tool will be discussed.
Participating teachers will work in pairs build a microscope with their mobile phone and prepare some samples to take to the classrooms and use them with their students.
To participate, fill out this pre-registration form. Limited places. We hope to see you there!
